For Awareness of the Arts: Visualize our DreamsA Contest For All Of DA!!

Update: Contest extended till Sunday, May 31st!
What it is:
Take one Artist and one writer and have them compete together. The Artist draws, or photographs or manipulates their craft; The Writer, writes a poem or short story based off the artist work *please keep written works to 1000 words or less*. It works the other way too, you can create art from literature too! :la:
Of course we have a theme Visualize our Dreams and your work needs to fit. We are a family here lets show the rest of the world what one form of social media can do. We can bring people from all walks of life with all talents together for one cause.
If you can find your own buddy awesome, if you need help finding a buddy we will pair up loners after asking two questions... Art or Writing? and What is your fav genre to work in? *just comment on this journal* If there are not enough in a particu
. My partner for the event, KaizenKitty is going to write something based off this work. Hope it inspires you! :D Oh and message me if you want to change the title (since we need to use the same title on our entries).

KaizenKitty's part:  ButterflyButterfly
'Doing this with another person should seem strange and unnatural to you.'
'It should, but it really doesn't.'
She rubbed her legs together in a way which could be considered sensual. But I knew she just felt cold.
'Is that normal?' she asked me, and paused for a second.
A second in which the butterfly fluttered just under her nose, before coming to rest in her ginger brown hair. I watched the light melt and die as the butterfly shut its wings. Leaving us in darkness once again.
'Am I normal?'
As if she needed to ask. I shrugged. No use explaining the rules of magic to a novice like her. Some things cannot be taught. Some things must be experienced. Instead I asked
'Has anyone followed you?'
'No. I've made absolutely certain.'
'Are you sure?'
'Upon my life.'
I always hated it when mortals swore things on their life. They never made good on their promises.
'Right. Okay, take my hand.'
At first she was hesitant. Then she gripped my hand harder than any man ever ha

Hi there !
You submitted this piece to CollaborativeMinds in the folder "Collaborations, separate deviations" which is great. However the link to your partner's work seems not to be there (yet?). If your partner didn't submit his piece, I'll have to move it to the "Art seeking Collaboration" folder till you can provide the link to the second part of the collab. Please let me know.
I'm am currently going through the folder making sure the second part of the collab is properly linked, thank you for your understanding.
We hope to see more of your work in the future.
Love
